This March, we’re shining a spotlight on the women whose leadership, passion, and expertise drive Testronic forward. Meet three inspiring leaders from our Center of Excellence in the Philippines, and hear what sparked their careers in gaming and the impact they hope to have on the next generation.
Kat Samson — QA Test Lead
Kat’s love for games drives her career and inspires her leadership. At Testronic’s Manila Center of Excellence, she fosters a supportive environment where her team can communicate freely, grow, and develop both technical and soft skills.
What first inspired you to pursue a career in the games industry?
Kat: “It’s definitely because of my love for games. The passion I have for playing fuels my drive to pursue this career. Without that passion and determination, I wouldn’t be able to be part of such an exciting and roller-coaster ride of a career.“
Ana Guisado — Test Lead
Ana is committed to inspiring the next generation of women in gaming. At Testronic’s Manila Center of Excellence, she emphasizes empathy and continuous learning, using her experiences to guide and encourage others in the industry.
In what ways do you hope your career journey inspires the next generation of women in the industry?
Ana: “I want women to see that they can build careers in this industry, not just as players, but as creators, leaders, and changemakers. And if my journey helps even one woman believe she can pursue this path, that is already a win for me.

Kristine Estrella — Associate QA Test Lead
Kristine’s love for story-driven games inspired her to pursue a career in the industry. At Testronic’s Manila Center of Excellence, she brings passion, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to her work, helping create high-quality player experiences.
What first inspired you to pursue a career in the games industry?
Kristine: “I adored reading fictional stories. I first discovered story-driven games in high school, such as To the Moon, to give an example.
It’s one of the first games that made me realize how impactful video games can be, and how wonderfully unique it is as a medium for storytelling. It’s then that I knew that I wanted to be a part of the game development industry.”
