Testronic Bolsters Leadership Team with the Promotion of Marius Potirniche to COO and Adam Keating as Senior VP of Sales & Marketing

Testronic, an award-winning video game development services provider, has promoted Marius Potirniche to Chief Operating Officer and appointed experienced games industry professional Adam Keating as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Potirniche joined Testronic after Whyttest, the QA outsourcing firm he founded, was acquired by Testronic in 2020. Marius has since worked with the Testronic leadership team, notably in an M&A role and having led the establishment of the company’s latest office opening in Lisbon, Portugal.

Keating joins Testronic from game services group Room 8 where he was Vice President – Global Business Development. Prior to that, he served as Head of EMEA Sales, Games and Entertainment at localisation specialist Lionbridge.

Testronic CEO Mike Betti said: “Marius has played a vital role in incorporating the two previous Whyttest sites in Serbia and Romania into the Testronic group, and subsequently has helped us to open our new studio in Portugal. I have no doubt that as COO of Testronic he will continue to help us to shape and grow the business.

“Meanwhile, Adam’s experience in, and knowledge of, the games services sector is unquestionable, having worked with some of our well-respected peers in QA, Localisation and Player Support. We’re delighted that he is joining us at what is a busy time for Testronic as we work with our publisher and development clients to bring to market some of the biggest games in the market over the coming months.”

Potirniche offered: “Having worked with the Testronic team since the incorporation of the Whyttest sites into the business, I am looking forward to the next phase in the company’s evolution and expansion.”

Keating added: “Testronic is an incredibly well-regarded provider of services to the games industry. It’s an honour to be joining the organisation, and I look forward to working with Mike Betti and the team to further grow Testronic’s presence and reputation as one of the world’s most respected game services vendors.”

These appointments also coincide with an expansion of Testronic’s new business development department, as Justin Phass joins as Senior Director of Business Development. Prior to his appointment, Phass was Director of Business Development at Technicolor Games having also enjoyed roles at GlobalStep and Lionbridge.
