Testronic Achieves ISO 27001 Certification

Testronic is pleased to announce that it has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2017 certification, the international standard outlining best practices for an information security management system (ISMS), for its games divisions in Poland and London. The certification requires organisations to assess the risks to their information assets and implement security controls to mitigate those risks. Organisations must undergo a rigorous auditing process to obtain certification.

“I am delighted to announce the achievement of the ISO 27001 certification, this is a significant and incredibly important accomplishment,” said Tanvear Karim, CISO. “Security is a fundamental part of our business and we take this responsibility seriously, in meeting these very high standards and achieving certification demonstrates the seriousness with which we treat our clients’ sensitive assets”.

ISO/IEC 27001:2017 is an Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). The ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standard is the most widely recognized among the ISO 27000 standard series for information security. The Testronic management system was audited by the British Assessment Bureau, a certification body accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
