Test Process

Our testing process provides the best value approach for each individual product. As every project and client requirement is different, we start each project with an analysis phase, usually based on a questionnaire completed by the client. Based on that information we define:

  • The testing phases that should be implemented (QA audit, test design, unit testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, monitoring, proof of concept)
  • Testing objectives: coverage level, reporting format and frequency, test scripts, monitoring
  • Preferred test approaches: structured testing, experience based tests, user cases, manual or automated, on location or at Testronic Labs

This evaluation process will vary depending on the type of project and can take from four hours to two weeks. The output of this process will result in a Master Test plan and quotation. Upon approval, the project will be assigned to a project manager who will initiate and manage the project and maintain regular communication with the client regarding progress, deliverables and results.

In each project, both input as well as output from the project will be defined in the Project Masterplan. The output of a Testronic Labs' project can contain:

  • Test plan, test design and test cases/scripts
  • Coverage report
  • Test progress report
  • Detailed problem or bug reports and confirmation reports
  • Testing equipment and PC configurations
  • Measurement results and graphs

Clients can use our online test and bug tracking systems to receive continuous status updates or we can deliver reports in all common Office formats.

In addition, our test engineers are familiar with commonly used commercial bug tracking systems and can report directly into project QA systems already in place.

Testronic Labs' test processes are market leading. For further information, or an informal proposal, please contact us.
