Test Process Audit

Testronic Labs offers audits on a project, departmental or company wide basis. An audit traditionally consists of three phases:

Phase 1 Start Up:

This phase involves collation, mapping and analysis of existing processes, workflow, existing documentation and functions.

Phase 2 On-site Audit:

The next phase involves an on-site audit to verify actual implementation by means of interviews and sample checks. Reference will be made during this process to the existing ISO and IEEE standards for process quality and testing standards and current best practice.

Phase 3 Evaluation:

At the end of an audit process we generate a report that evaluates various aspects of Quality Assurance within the company. We provide a status and improvement report describing elements such as:

Status

• The maturity stage of your QA (Initial Repeatable Described Controlled - Preventing)
• Management commitment
• Testing independence

Improvement

• Required quality roles (QA management and execution)
• Required testing phases according to the required quality level
• Required tools and environment according to the required quality level
• Documentation requirements

These audits can be linked to an overall test management project, to project execution with Testronic Labs, or can be conducted on their own to evaluate in-house QA processes and existing partnerships.
