Emulation Testing
Testronic Labs can help you save money and time by testing the emulation process. Emulation testing occurs upstream from disc testing, giving you earlier visibility of faults whilst removing the need for replicating test discs.
Emulation QC tests the complete disc image either by using software that mimics the disc user experience or by working from a burned disc on DVD-R or BD-R. Much of the testing is the same as for replicated discs and the costs are considerably lower. Emulation testing is not suitable for compatibility testing as burned discs do not always behave the same as their replicated cousins.
