BD-J (Java) Testing
BD-J, the Blu-ray format encompassing Java software programming, is truly what sets Blu-ray apart from DVD. DVD can be described as a media disc, essentially AV content with additional programming. Blu-ray, combined with BD-J, is a media disc with astonishing additional programming capability.
Whilst development is clearly different for BD-J, testing should be considered differently too. Currently, most BD-J is custom designed and programmed, which requires unique test plans to be developed for every title. In order to maximise the success of your release, we recommend starting the QA process during the programming design phase. This enables us to integrate testing throughout the development lifecycle and to offer our expertise in streamlining the process.
