Format Verification
Testronic Labs can test the various aspects of a title throughout the production process against industry standards for each format. This is a scientific approach which increases the overall quality and stability of the product to be released. Physical analysis of the actual replicated disc, format verification of the content on the disc, playback device verification or authoring tool certification all lead to improved consistency in the market.
We have been actively involved in providing standard compliance services for video formats for many years, either supporting official test labs with specialist services or by providing format verification services directly for tool, device and title developments.
With new BD formats, Testronic Labs acts as an active contributor to the Verification Service Group of the BDA in order to provide format certification services for new formats as well.
