The Media-Tech Association was created in 2001 to serve every facet of the optical and removable storage media manufacturing industry in Europe. The Blu-ray Disc Academy was established under the aegis of the Media-Tech Association, with the support of the Blu-ray Disc Association, to showcase the creative aspects of the Blu-ray format and its potential business opportunities. Through its Forum, the Blu-ray Disc Academy is specifically designed to bring together the creative community and business and marketing professionals from across Europe to share experiences in turning content into profit.  The Frankfurt event will present recognized industry experts addressing issues of content creation, advance interactive features, market opportunities and a series of unique live demonstrations.
