First-ever London Games Conference Gains Plaudits

Date published: 04 Nov 2009

London Games Conference LogoObservers have hailed last week’s London Games Festival as another great success – the week-long mix of events boasted everything from shadow cabinet ministers assessing the future of funding in the UK games industry to London games fans walking the streets dressed as zombies on Halloween.

Testronic Labs’ Charlie Goodall visited the inaugural London Games Conference at BAFTA as part of last weeks’ festivities and described the event as “fascinating – Testronic Labs provides QA for online games and emerging mobile formats alongside services for traditional developers so the insights of the speakers about the future of the market were really relevant.  It was also a chance to connect with my London contacts, so I hope the event has a long future!”.  Subtitled “Digital Distribution and the Future of the European Games Market”, developers and representatives of the emerging digital distribution formats met to discuss the developments in the market and where next it’ll be headed.
