TL Receives its 3rd Nomination for the Develop Industry Excellence Awards

Date published: 22 Jun 2010

July is approaching fast, which can only mean one thing: the UK's highest profile games business awards ceremony, the Develop Industry Excellence Awards.

Now in its 8th year, the ceremony, hosted by top comic Rufus Hound, is being held at the Hilton Metropole, Brighton on Wednesday July 14th, where leading lights from the games industry's development community will gather in honour of the value they bring to the development world.Quote

Testronic Labs - regular attendees of the Develop Conference - have been nominated for an award for the third year in a row.  This nomination, in the Service category, comes after a period of lobbying in which TL reminded the judging panel of the achievements of 2009/10. TL’s recognition in this field comes as a result of our ability to adapt to new growth and shifts in the broader games industry and the development world. This past year, Testronic Labs has added Black Bean, (including the SBK series) and Zen United to their stable of high-profile clients. Responding to the massive growth in Casual Gaming, Testronic Labs has successfully launched a specific service for this field. Furthermore, we’ve expanded our state-of-the-art Polish functionality testlab and the array of languages supported in our Pinewood Studios localisation hub.Develop Logo

The dedicated TL games team is proud to be nominated and they'll be awaiting news from Brighton with interest - could this be the year that Alastair Harsant, Games Business Line Manager, comes back with a well-deserved prize for the Pinewood trophy cabinet?
