Description
The candidate is an experienced games tester, having worked on several functionality testing projects. The candidate is able to thoroughly test a game while guiding their testing team. The candidate's ability to transfer their knowledge to the rest of their team is an important part of the job. Good organizational and communication skills should be combined with the ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
Candidate requirements/skills:
Knowledge and experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Games QA.
- Experience with the use of online bug databases
- Experience with maintaining and updating test scripts
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook and Word
Knowledge and experience desirable:
- Knowledge of Microsoft TCR requirements and test methodology for Xbox 360
- Knowledge of Sony TRC requirements and test methodology for PS3
- Knowledge of Sony TRC requirements and test methodology for PSP.
- Knowledge of Nintendo LotCheck requirements and test methodology for both Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS(i)

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and guide a team of testers on assigned testing project.
• Share your experience with the team.
• Proactive communication to project coordinator about any issue that may pose a risk to submission target as early as possible.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and thoroughly, and within a specified timeframe.
• Take notice of overall progress and noteworthy findings to report to project coordinator on a daily basis.
• Ensure that no major bugs, flaws or issues remain in the signed-off product and report them as early as possible.
• Proactively seek to improve knowledge of testing procedures and where applicable related equipment.
• Ensure correct write-up (in English) of bugs, flaws and issues, and propose corrections to facilitate fixes.
