Description
Testronic Laboratories are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Senior iDTV Test Specialist to represent and lead the Testronic Laboratories Digital Television Testing operations at key client accounts.
Clients can include iDTV broadcasters, interactive application developers, content providers, set-top box hardware, software and middleware developers. Testronic Laboratories currently serves the digital media industry through 6 business lines in 8 locations in Europe and the USA. Testronic Labs is a daughter company of German stock listed Catalis nv.
Interface with iDTV Test Manager
Input on test approach / strategy
Input on planning
Interface with client on technical level
Requirement reviews
Provide technical support concerning test results
Interface with suppliers on technical level
Provide technical support concerning test results
Test requirements management
Organize test requirement reviews if desired
Specify test requirements
Keep test requirements up-to-date
Test case management
Specify test cases and procedures
Verify test cases
Test environment management
Define test environment
Configure test environment
Test case execution and reporting
Review iDTV Test Specialist reporting
Review Junior Test Engineer reporting
Candidate requirements/skills:
• BS/BA degree in computing or electronics
• iDTV technologies (Set Top-Box hardware or Middleware or Interactive applications, DVB PSI/SI, MHP, …)
• Testing theories & best practices (ISEB is strong bonus)
• Comfortable with adapting to testing of new technologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Fluent in English
• Team Player

Location:
Primary location at the client site in Benelux / Germany
Secondary location in office in Diepenbeek, Belgium for test setup, coordination, execution in lab.
