Security Standards

Testronic Laboratories is accredited by MPAA and FACT (The Federation Against Copyright Theft) as meeting global film and media industry security standards.

Our facilities are high security with our Pinewood labs located in the heart of Pinewood Studios, our Polish facility within Technicolors European manufacturing facility and our main Burbank facility situated within the Deluxes facility on Empire Avenue. Our Belgian lab, which exists as a centre of excellence for hardware testing and certification, is located in the centre of Hasselt University's science park with high security across the entire site.

All six of our facilities have a stringent level of security with entry only gained through the use of swipe cards and keypad controls. Additionally there is CCTV at all access/egress points to our buildings as well as CCTV in operation within the highly secure areas of our buildings.

These areas include;

  • Dedicated testing labs for games clients with their own swipe card system
  • Secure fireproof vaults housing all client material, all of which have additional access control
  • Asset disposal equipment and rooms
  • Server rooms for secure download and replication of assets from clients

All vault access is limited to senior personnel only.

All Testronic Labs employees are required to sign security disclosures as part of their contracts of employment and in addition are not permitted to bring on to any of the facility sites:

  • any media storage device
  • any optical storage device
  • mobile telephones
  • cameras

Further, all staff are required to sign in and sign out of our facilities at all times and are required to use dedicated storage rooms for personal baggage.

Random staff searches are carried out on a regular basis by senior management.

Facility Visitor Access

Visitors are only allowed into our facilities after the following has been completed;

  • Proof of identify provided and verified
  • Visitor security NDA completed and signed
  • Visitor book with signature
  • Confirmation that a member of Testronic Labs staff is present to accompany the visitor at all times
  • All storage devices/personal baggage has been secured

Equipment Disposal

From time to time all facilities have to replace/upgrade and dispose of equipment. When this happens, all equipment is placed into a sterile area after which the IT manager of the site, together with a senior manager, will run a check to ensure no information is held on the equipment. Where information is held on equipment, it is it is erased.

Security Audit Plan

Each facility is required to undertake a full security review on a yearly basis. This is carried out by the senior site manager. Any findings are documented and action plans are created and implemented to correct any weaknesses.
